PSEP Applicant Checklist

Complete the certification process by the CNMI Scholarship Office deadline. WICHE PSEP certified applicants qualify to be considered for PSEP support because they have been determined bonifide residents of their home state. However, PSEP support is never guaranteed; we encourage you to read more about how applicants are selected for WICHE PSEP support. Veterinary (DVM) applicants strongly encouraged to certify before September 15th. Applicants for other professional healthcare programs must certify by October 15th of the year prior to admission.

Please read the following steps carefully to qualify:

Apply to the participating schools of your choice. Inform your certifying officer of all the schools to which you are seeking admission.
IMMEDIATELY inform your certifying officer as you receive offers and when you accept an offer of admission at a participating school.
Formally decline offers of admission at schools you will not be attending.
Check directly with your enrolling institution regarding the specific tuition charges that will be required from you.
Enroll and remain enrolled as a full-time student.
Maintain your home state residency.
Submit any address changes to your state certifying officer.
State certifying officers inform all students of annual renewal requirements for state certification.
