Undergraduate Programs

The Educational Assistance Program (EAP) offers several undergraduate scholarship programs for eligible students who wish to pursue an associate or bachelor’s degree at the Northern Marianas College or any accredited off-island institutions (includes online):

Assistance for full-time enrollment (12 credits or more):

Educational Assistance Program Base Grant (EAPBG) is for eligible CNMI residents enrolled full-time and meet the requirements pursuing an undergraduate degree or a trade/vocational certificate.

WICHE Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program allows CNMI resident students to pay no more than 150% of in-state tuition at participating schools.

Nursing School Scholarship (NSS) special scholarship available for nursing students pursuing an associate degree at NMC or an accredited off-island institution. 

Assistance available for part-time enrollment (1-11 credits):

Marianas Employees Financial Aid (MEFA) is for full-time employees within the Commonwealth who are pursuing an undergraduate degree and are enrolled part-time at NMC or a qualified online program.  Proof of full-time employment is required.
